Order Cancellation & Changes Policy
Order Cancellation & Changes Policy
Effective / Last Updated: August 17, 2026
This policy explains when an order cancellation or change may be requested and the limitations that apply once fulfillment, customization, material preparation, or production has begun. Order-specific terms included in a custom quote, invoice, approval, or written agreement will control for that transaction to the extent of the difference, subject to applicable law.
1. Cancellation and Change Requests
Customers should contact CDubz DeZigns as soon as possible if they need to request a cancellation or change. Submitting a request does not guarantee that the order can be cancelled or modified. Whether a request can be accommodated depends on the status of the order at the time the request is received.
2. Standard Website Orders
For standard, non-custom website orders, a cancellation or change may be possible only if fulfillment has not yet begun. Once an order has entered fulfillment, been packed, had a shipping label created, or otherwise progressed beyond the point where a reasonable change can be made, the order may no longer be cancelled or modified.
3. Custom, Personalized, and Bulk Orders
Custom, personalized, made-to-order, and bulk orders require planning, materials, design preparation, garment sourcing, or production time that may begin before the finished order is ready to ship. Because of this, cancellation and change requests for these orders are more limited.
Once applicable artwork, wording, garment selections, quantities, colors, placement, sizing, or other order details have been approved, CDubz DeZigns may rely on those approvals to purchase materials and begin production. Changes requested after approval are not guaranteed and may result in additional charges, a revised production timeline, or the need for a new order.
4. Once Production or Fulfillment Has Begun
An order generally cannot be cancelled after production, customization, printing, pressing, assembly, packaging, or fulfillment has begun. CDubz DeZigns may also decline a requested change when materials have already been ordered or prepared specifically for the customer’s order.
If a change can still be accommodated after work or material preparation has begun, the customer may be responsible for costs already incurred, replacement materials, additional labor, or other charges associated with the requested change.
5. Customer-Requested Design or Order Changes
Customers are responsible for reviewing order details carefully before approval. Requests to change spelling, wording, design elements, garment style, color, size, quantity, placement, or other approved specifications should be submitted before production begins.
If CDubz DeZigns agrees to a requested change, the production or delivery estimate may be revised. Significant changes may require a new quote, invoice, approval, or order rather than a modification of the original order.
6. Shipping Address Changes
Address changes should be requested as soon as possible. CDubz DeZigns cannot guarantee that a shipping address can be changed after fulfillment has begun or a shipping label has been created. Additional carrier, rerouting, or reshipping charges resulting from a customer-requested address change may be the customer’s responsibility.
7. Approved Cancellations and Refunds
If CDubz DeZigns approves a cancellation before fulfillment or production has begun, any refund due will be processed using the applicable payment method or other agreed method. Amounts already committed to nonrecoverable materials, special-order merchandise, design or setup work, payment processing, or other order-specific costs may be nonrefundable when applicable and permitted by law.
The timing for a refund to appear in a customer’s account may vary by payment provider or financial institution and is outside the direct control of CDubz DeZigns after the refund has been issued.
8. CDubz DeZigns-Initiated Changes or Cancellation
In the uncommon event that CDubz DeZigns cannot reasonably complete an order as accepted, the customer will be contacted regarding available options. Depending on the circumstances, those options may include an approved substitution, revised timeline, modification, partial refund, or cancellation and refund of the affected portion of the order.
9. Boutique Experience Reservations
This policy applies to merchandise and product orders. Boutique Experience reservations, event services, travel arrangements, retainers, rescheduling, and event cancellations may be governed by separate booking terms, invoices, agreements, or an experience-specific cancellation and rescheduling policy.
10. Order-Specific Terms
Certain custom, bulk, specialty, or event-related orders may include additional cancellation, change, approval, payment, or production terms in a quote, invoice, agreement, or direct order communication. Those order-specific terms will apply to that order in addition to this general policy.
11. Questions or Requests
To request a cancellation or order change, customers should contact CDubz DeZigns as soon as possible and include the order number and the specific change being requested. Requests will be reviewed based on the order status at the time they are received.
